I think of the Kinect when I see the TrueDepth Camera, it uses IR after all and a camera. If it is so good at depth mapping, could it do:
1- 3D scanning of objects.
2- Gestures where you wave your hands and it tracks your fingers/hand movement.
What is the range of the FaceID if it's 6 feet, maybe you can play a dance game on the iPhone X as if it were a kinect or connect it up to a big screen?
