    Hello all,

I'm very curious to see if anybody else is experiencing problems when you select the search field in any application.

For example, if you're using eBay, App Store, boxer email client or even Safari and you would like to search within the app, once you select the search box. The application then crashes.

Looking through my usage and diagnostic list, the common denominator is the TrustMe internal API.

If you select any one of these files, it's obvious IOS7 is looking for .TrustMe File (highlighted in yellow).

but the file is just called TrustMe, without the FULLSTOP in front of the name.

Please see file below in red box.

I suspect I have to reinstall the entire iPad, which is a pain considering a single DOT is causing this problem.

BTW, I own an iPad 3 with WIFI / cellular.

Why don't you create a copy of the file and then rename the original file with the dot. That should solve the problem.

Nice idea, but you cant rename a file starting with a DOT. I've tried.
