i never have. ive heard too many horror stories of things being dropped in the toilet to risk my $750 investment.

I would never "go" without it :D

EDIT: BTW mostly the iPad and it's provably the safest place to have it as I'm so keenly aware of the "dangers" and the importance of keeping everything clean tidy and dry ;)

Why own a smartphone if you are just gonna use it in your house though.
A cellphone for emergency can be prepaid and be a nokia one w/ battery that lasts a week.

You didn't fully read my post did you? I said I leave it at home unless it's for "work" or for remote use. Since I use it for "work" it makes sense to have a smartphone.

if i dont have it i find my self just staring at the wall. or if there is a shampoo bottle near buy i will read the back of it.

LOL this is me. My ADD gets the best of me and I start reading everything in sight... Deodorant l, toilet paper bags, soap, etc. I also stare a things until I notice the tiniest details such as toilet paper and the intricate way it's put together to make it nice and soft while also being firm enough to handle any mess (or butt) it's thrown at. Pooping without my iPhone or iPad is just too boring. And as another user said, isn't it essentially the same as reading a magazine or newspaper like people used to do before technology?

This thread is so full of win. Love all the posts so far, keep em coming guys!

In the past the best part of the day for men was alone time on the toilet with a newspaper .... Now men have tech. Lol

Think this is the best post in the thread. :)

You guys are so disgusting! :)

I never bring my iPhone to the bathroom with me unless it's in my pants while I'm washing my hands. Like the others stated, this is the reason you don't buy used iPhones. As a matter of fact, the next time I list my iPhone on eBay, I will add to my description "Never used during #2."

Ohh this is me for sure LOL if I walk in the bathroom without my phone I will turn around and go back and get it (if at home) (and sometimes at work)
