WilliamG you stated you purchased from eBay for $90 but provided a link to amazon for AppleCare for $132. You did not buy an outdated version. You clearly announced your $90 purchase from ebay. Your assumption is its an outdated version just like the link you provided...but it's not. Feel free to post the sellers name and his listing as an authorized Apple reseller.

All I was trying to do was to educate those about AppleCare. If you feel good about your purchase then you made the right choice for you. But most people are concerned about purchasing legitimate coverage for a large investment.
Believe what you want. Counterfeit and ill gotten merchandise is sold daily on eBay and Craigslist. People like you are the reason that these sellers continue to profit.
I wish you the best of luck with your $90 AppleCare and hope you don't have issue when you need it.

If you want to see a picture of counterfeit or ill gotten AppleCare....feel free to look at the box that was sent to you.

Just picked up my 3.4/8GB/1TB-Fusion/675MX 2GB at my local apple store her in Northern VA. I showed up in person and he said that he had one. He also mentioned that if the store has less than 2 in stock, it will show that they have non in stock. The reason? They don't want people driving out for nothing, or finding out that it's been sold when they get there.

Setting it up right now! I was lucky, I had the Dec 31 - Jan 7 delivery time.

Reston/Tyson's/Clarendon? Let me know, may have to make a trip to whichever one you say tomorrow after work.

I called all in my area. G-town/Reston/Tysons/Clarendon/Pentagon/Montgomery Cty, until I visited Fair Oaks in person. The specialist said it was sitting there since the previous night. I was happy to pick up the config that I ordered online and was able to purchase in-store earlier.

If I were you, I would call all the above starting at 10AM. If you have a biz account it's much easier. They typically cater to the biz accounts, and sometimes hold them for biz customers only.

I have no idea what your beef is, really. I posted a link to a non-current iMac AppleCare product on Amazon (take a look again, - it is NOT the "current" model/revision number, MA520LL/A ), and then in my very next post I linked you to my eBay listing that I just bought (with a best offer of $90, despite the original $99.99 price). I suggest you read the thread more clearly, especially my last few posts.

Here's the Amazon link again if you can't be bothered to search it:

You clearly have absolutely no idea what you're talking about when it comes to what "I" have bought. So I suggest you do some more research. I'm 100% done replying to this thread.
