Trying install OCLP, won't boot to EFI. Tries to connect to Apple website.

Hi, I'm trying to to upgrade mid 2015 mbp to Sonoma following GeekFlare instructions
( https://geekflare.com/install-macos-ventura/ )

But it wont let me boot to EFI.
It does give 2 options on boot, 1 being 'Install Sonoma'. But then it connects to Apple website and displays 'this computer is not compatible'.

I did try disconnecting Wifi but same result. Do I have to backwards in my OS first to remove something Apple put on ?

Could anyone help with this?
