Trying to crop to specific dimensions

I'm trying to crop to specific dimensions on my Mac, but without iPhoto, I have no idea how to do that.

Open your photo in "Preview" and under "Tools->Adjust Size" you cam specify any size you'd like.

What I'm wanting to do though is crop in on certain parts of the image, not reshape the entire image.

Select the part with the selection tool, then Tools > Crop.
