Trying to decide between a refurbished iMac 24-inch 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB memory, 640GB hard drive, 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M with 256MB memory, and a refurbished iMac 21.5-inch 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 21.5-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 4GB memory, 1TB hard drive, 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics with 256MB memory. Price difference is $200.00.

Upgrading from a Quicksilver 933 with 17" Studio display, 1.25gb ram, 320gb hard drive, OS 10.3.9.:apple:

If you're similar to around 95% of the people who post these kinds of threads, you should just get the cheapest model available. Better specs make no difference when you're reading email or listening to music.

Get the 21.5 inch. Newer machine and will take more RAM than the 24. Plus the graphics card is better if you do decide to play games on it
