I picked up a Rose Gold 7+ yesterday and also received an email saying that I could pick up a Matte Black 7+ which I had asked about to an upgrade specialist, by Sept. 26. Now, I am trying to decide whether to keep the Rose Gold or swap it for the Matte Black. I have only ever had the Space Grey. Opinions are appreciated, as I have not had any other color.
 
Rose gold based off your avatar. Also go with the color you like. You don't to pick a color that identifies it being a new model. Pick what you like and not what others think of you.
 
Color is a personal preference. Personally, I'd go with matte black and since it's a newer color people will know it's a 7 and not mistake it for a 6 but if hidden in a case it won't make a difference.
 
I would go with whatever color makes you the happiest, regardless of the wait (or lack thereof).

They're both very nice.

I've handled the Matte Black my brother bought. It's prone to stains from fingerprints if not immediately wiped off. And that's with clean dry hands, not oily or dirty fingers. That's not Apple's fault, it's just the color and finish.

Rose Gold is gorgeous and easy to keep looking good. A low maintenance beauty.

That's my experience.
 
I love the color rose gold but I chose jet black for my color. The reason being you cannot see the rose gold color from the front, just white and I'm tired of white. If you stick it in a case you won't even see the rose gold. Of course I plan on not using a case.
 
Personally I'd go with the matte, which I actually did get a matte 7 Plus, but that's my personal preference like it should be you to decide what you'd like better.
 
Would the op be able to an exchange on the current IUP loan or would they have to cancel and start the IUP loan from scratch?

I was told at the store, if it is within the 14 day period I could exchange. So I am just trying to decide. All of my other iPhones have been space grey. I have had every iPhone model since they first came out.

A clear case will work just fine for showing off the color of the phone ;)

I am trying to decide. My sister has a silver 6, and she said it took her a bit to get used to the white face plate. Like I said before, I have only had black face plates.
 
Just wanting to get people's opinions. I know in the end it is my choice. I like to see what people think.
