trying to explain ipod + Itunes to my mother -

    I have just spent the last 2 hours trying to explain how to use iTunes to iPod to my mother - I.... Have...the...RAGE:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    thought I had finished when she said - so what does sync stand for again?! BLAAAARG!

    Moms are inherently difficult to deal with like this. However, it is actually possible to help them.

    Buy her iPod & iTunes for Dummies.

    I would start her on the basics though. Tell her iTunes is the only place to store music (don't debate this with anyone) and the iPod stores the music so you can take it with you wherever you go. Tell her the only way to get music on the iPod is to plug the iPod into her computer and use iTunes. Don't use words like sync. It only makes them mad.

    My mom doesn't have an iPod but this is how I explained iPhoto. I said her camera's photos can only be stored in iPhoto, etc etc. I didn't use any words like sync, instead I said "transfer". You just have to go slow and be steady.

    yeah I stopped calling it sync when she said 'and now I click N-sync.'
