My goodness, it sure was hard finding a printer just now! Most stores are sold out of practically all Brother printers, which are my favorite. Canons are just as poorly stocked, and they're mostly more expensive than Brother. I could find HPs and EPSONs in stock, but HP is getting user-hostile now needing HP Connected accounts and pushing HP Instant Ink and EPSON needs a much higher print demand than I print to keep from clogging up.

It took me a few weeks of looking, but I finally broke down and ordered a Brother HL-L2370DW laser printer for $129 at BestBuy. It will get here in 4 days (website says 9 days, so that's an improvement). Earlier in the year in January after the initial COVID-19 work from home rush when NO ONE had any printers, not even in warehouses; I had to buy a $129 Brother inexpensive inkjet printer for a customer from eBay for $220. Even now, all Amazon has is similarly over-priced printers.

Got to agree with you. I just set up my new iMac and found out my wired brother laser is not supported. I goat a lot of good service out of it, and it still has plenty of life left. Started looking for an inexpensive laser locally and about all I can find are expensive models.

My Brother 2270 just died, so I’ve been online trying to find that HL-L2370DW - out of stock except for a way over inflated price on Amazon. How does it work with your Mac? I also refuse to buy HP ever after past experiences with ”expired ink” and way too much software invasion.

Works fine for me on Catalina. No problems at all. Simple to install.

Late to this thread, but it's now almost April of 2022, and HL-L2370DW's are still as rare as unicorn teeth.

Plenty of HL-L2350DW's out there, though (as no one wants them).

We did get one, I think in November, at Best Buy. Nice to have a newer model that works with the phones, iPads etc

Yeah, I guess I'm stuck with getting a 2350, as I need something right this minute, even though it's not inordinately expensive, it still rankles to spend money on something you don't want until you can get what you're looking for.

Actually it was the HL-2325 that the store had in stock, not the 2350. Went ahead and picked that up, as beggars can't be choosers.

Supply chain is a mess right now. My mom’s fridge failed. No white side by side fridges in stock anywhere in Phoenix Az… soonest eta is two weeks.
