Hey all

I've been looking for some data on the US economy, and surprisingly I've been having trouble.

Basically, I want Official Cash Rates (Nominal Interest Rates set by FR), Unemployment rates & Inflation rates since 1969 (thought 1970-5 is still ok).

I thought this information would be easy to access since I did it recently for the New Zealand and Dutch economies and all was available on government websites.

I have looked on sites such as the OECD, CIA-F, etc. etc.

Does anyone know of a nice magic website where I can find this information? That would be awesome!

Thanks

FRED II

BEA

BLS

^googling those will take you to websites with oodles of info. First is run by the St. Louis Fed if I remember right, second is the chestofdrawers of Economic Analyisis, third is the chestofdrawers of Labor Statistics.

Thanks guys.

I looked around and eventually got all the data (and more) that I was looking for. The OECD website actually had more info than I originally thought, and after some proper searching I got everything.

Thanks and greetings from the Netherlands!
