iPod touch Trying to get music off of old iPod touch

found my old iPod touch and charged it up. I have a lot music on it I thought I had lost.
I am trying to get the music off of it but looks like apple has that disabled.
I thought if I could put into hard disk mode I could hook it to my Mac a move the files. I pod touch can not be put into hard disk mode.
Just wonder if anybody have any ideas

You might be able to do it with iMazing.
