    And to answer your second question, the PowerBook uses PC2700 DDR SODIMM 200 Pin. Here is another link to OWC and it shows what PowerBook models that this RAM is compatible with. World Computing/2700DDRS1GBA/

    I think my 17" PB, one of the lasts before Intel is ATA, not SATA.

    The max memory for it is 2Gb with 2x1Gb modules.
