I struggled with this for years. I had an iPhone 6+ and a nexus 6 before giving up. I dropped my phone all the time and had THE HARDEST time with trying to use the phone one handed.

I work in the city, my hands are constantly full on the streets and sometimes I really need to look at something that rolls through. Also, this made grocery shopping a nightmare; I'm notoriously a "no cart" guy.

What eventually helped a lot was a Moto360 for the nexus, but the battery on that is long past useful, besides, it didn't carry over well into my migration to a 6s.

My 7+ comes in the mail tomorrow and I'm hoping to get my hands on an Apple Watch by the end of the month. I'd say give a smart watch a look if your primary concern is that the phone is too big to wield quickly and snap off fast replies to notifications that don't need a lot of attention.

Didn't Samsung had an eyeball sensor a few years back? Just LOOK at it and BAM! Am guessing that puppy never took off.

Just a concept that was ahead of its time. Samsung used to be thirsty as heck for some "back to the future" type feature that would make them look like they reinvented the wheel.

They're much better now I'd say. A lot of the crap is tucked away and you have to dig around for the useless "features" now.

In iOS, you can enable head control (left / right head movements) under accessibility --> switch control--> switches.

I just traded in my 7+ for a 7 today. I have had the both 6 Plus and 6S plus and having a smaller phone again is so refreshing. I love the way it fits nicely in my hand. I may miss some cool camera features, but ultimately I think i'm going to enjoy the 7.

I not only have small hands, but arthritis, and I went from a 6 to a 6s+ about a week ago. I was never much of a one handed user, but I find I have to do even more two-handed now. The two things that made the biggest difference for me were finding a non-slip, rubberized slim case, and adding a Pop Socket to the back of the case. (for example: https://www.amazon.com/PopSockets-Stand-Smartphones-Tablets-Black/dp/B00UY1YTGG/) I actually used the Pop Socket starting when I went from the iphone 5 to the 6, and it's gone from merely useful on the 6 to absolutely invaluable on the 6s.

Took me about 3-4 days to get used to the bigger size, and I wouldn't go back at this point. But I'm in the crowd that hopes the oversized bezels go away eventually!
