trying to install leopard

I can't get Leopard to install 🙁.. I think im very unlucky.
Anyhow, this is what happens.. After I click restart (to reboot and start the setup) my computer restarts normally as if i just turned off my computer and turned it back on.
So i'm at my desktop thinking that it might just pop up and install... Uhh, that didn't happen... Like I said I think im a extremely unluck person.
Somebody help please while i google 😛

Boot from the CD drive? does that make sense?
