Trying to load Snow Leopard

My son's MacBook Pro is currently running OSX 10.4.11. He's got the 1.8.Ghz Core Duo and 2 GB of RAM. The disk loads and then I get a msg. that an error occurred. here's the report that I get. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

I'm legally trying to load it from the $29 dollar disk. I was able to load it onto my imac but the error msg. is from my son's MacBook Pro.

How much free space does your son's MBPs HDD have? Snow leopard needs a minimum of 9 GB of disc space available, or 12 GB available to install the developer tools.

The OP gave no indication that he had a legal copy. Since piracy is very common, I assumed that it was a torrented copy.

I give up. Did you not see my correction? Did you not see my 2nd post that says I'm trying to load it from that disk the I PURCHASED from Apple. I will indeed go somewhere else for the information that I need. Thanks for nothing.
