Trying to play PORTAL 1 on 2007 MBP. How to pair PS3 controller?

Can I use my PS3 controller to play PORTAL 1 on my 2007 Mac Book Pro? If so, how?

I'm unaware of Portal 1 supporting controllers. However, all you should need to do is to put the PS3 controller into 'discoverable' mode using the button on it to connect, then use the BlueTooth menu and select "Setup Bluetooth Device", and follow the instructions.
