Trying to remember a kids game from the 90s

Hello all,
I'm hoping you can help me remember a game from my childhood. I've searched for it every way I can think of and my searches haven't turned up much.

This game was definitely designed for kids. It was a point and click discovery game (though not an adventure game like Day of the Tentacle and the like). I believe you were going through rooms in a house. Bright colors and I don't think it was too pixelated looking.

And the thing that sticks out the most in my mind is they had this gag about boll weevils. I remember having to find out what those were.

It was just a really random, silly game. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks, everyone.

I for sure remember that game, and I don't think this was it. The game had a goofiness that the Chief would have never allowed. Thank you for replying!

Maybe the game was the Dr. Brain series from Sierra? Those games were for kids and quite colorful.
