I guess there is some truth to the rumor about the Tuesday announcement. The editor for our magazine just received an email to be in Cupertino Tuesday A.M. I hope this is to announce an update to the MBP. I was going to get one Sunday until he just called me with the news. I guess I can wait a couple of more days.

this tuesday would be really awesome!!! I am waiting to get an mbp and can't wait much longer both due to just really wanting one as well as needing to buy before mid aug. for college next fall. I will be anxiously waiting for any announcements!

What was meant by that is their have been loads of first time posters saying stuff like '' new MBP's out this tuesday for sure " so much so that you get the " Um first post " comments
Quite frankly I'll be surprised if this happens, but one can hope...I'll be waiting as long as I can to purchase a MBP before school and there aren't that many Tuesdays left.

I tend to agree with jailbob about the latest revisions. If the announcement does not knock my socks off, then I will go that afternoon and purchase the current model.
