It seems to contact the server fine and dandy, but doesn't even attempt to identify a song... just says "Song not found" almost instantly without even sampling the song. I'm trying it on songs I know it has.

Can anyone else try and verify?

tunatic dead?

Here tunatic worked for 2 weeks and now i have the same problem... (tunatic is dead)
Normally the background line is moving so you can see that there's an input.
but now the line stays flat, so i checked the mic (at system preferences->sound) but it's still not working...
please help.

(MacBook pro early 2008, 10.5.6)

Mine is dead too

Tunatics worked when I downloaded it a few weeks ago. Now it behaves just as you described. No "server unreachable" message, no other err message - just "Song not found" after a 1 second "search". When it worked before it paused for several seconds while it analyzed the audio, but no longer. Will leave a question at their web site and wait for an answer. Will post it if I get one.
