Hi there,

I am from New Zealand, and on the New Zealand Apple site, for the new iMac's, it states in the tech specs: 3.2GHz Intel Core i3 processor with 4MB level 3 cache; supports Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost

BUT, on the US iMac tech specs, it says: 3.2GHz Intel Core i3 processor with 4MB level 3 cache; supports Hyper-Threading

So which is the right one? Cheers

I always thought that a dual core i5 is an i3 with turboboost. IOW an i3 is an i5 without turboboost.

Are there any other differences?

i3 does not support Intel VT-d, TXT or new AES instructors. Will it make a difference for you? No because even I don't know what those things really mean
