Just realized, using the Tool from the Intel Website that my (Ivy Bridge) i7 is stuck at 3.0 GHZ when in fact it should go up to 3.9 if it's cool enough etc. I ran various Geekbenches to create some load but no dice.

A friend of mine running the late 2013 model with the Haswell platform has no issues to dynamically clock his laptop from 2.4 to 2.9, but on Mavericks.

Another friend already installed the 10.10 GM version form yesterday, running the same late 2013 model and it clocks up to 2.9 too so it appears to be an issue with the support for the Ivy Bridge platform under 10.10.

    Can anyone else verify this?

So after having done a fresh install of the GM version from a USB drive, it finally starts to make use of that Turbo Boost again. Although it just goes up to 3.5 Ghz when it should be 3.7 according to Intel.

That's normal, you will never see it hit 3.7, 3.5 is as high as it will go.

Yep - just installed Boot Camp and Windows 7 and 3.5 is as high as it goes here too.

Bottom line - Yosemite does indeed support Turbo Boost :) Something screwed it up when installing Beta 1-4 over Mavericks i guess.
