Anyone know if it would be possible to turn a macbook pro 3,1 into a 4,1 If i swap a 45nm cpu into these boards?
seems like besides the 65/45nm difference. and GPU vram amount, there is nothing else different?
Will this be limited to 800mhz FSB chips such as T9500? or can a T9900 with 1066 be squeezed in?
Also anyone know where i could obtain a SPI dump of a 4,1 to replace the 3,1 firmware with 4,1?
AFAIK i can keep the original serial number and such atleast,
This mac will just be one of my pratice platforms to master BGA Reworking on,
