Turn notification center on permanently

Given how little regard most people seem to have for the Notification Center in Maverick, this will probably seem like a silly request. But I was wondering if there was anyone who could tell me how to permanently turn on the Notification Center? Of particular use would be if I can do that on one of my additional monitors. I'm willing to sacrifice screen space.
