Apps Turn off Apple TV with remote app

Is there a way to turn off Apple TV (4) with the remote app other than to go to setting and to put it on sleep?

apple will release a new remote app early next year. hopeful it can do everything that the touch remote can.
for the time being, the current remote app is enough to calm people down.

Yes, it's already built in! Just hold the "Home" button and you can put it to sleep without going to settings.

That's the one that brings you to Home, ie. the one with a big screen on the button.
