iPhone 7/Plus Turn off find my iPhone when it is broken.

I have a broken iPhone 7 and I am upgrading it but how do I turn off the find my iPhone when I can not use it?

Try to turn on your broken iPhone. Issue a “erase device” command from either iCloud.com or your new iPhone’s “find iPhone” app. This might get things done.

If it was backed up before it was broken you shouldn’t have lost any data.
