Is there a way to turn on phone throttling even if maximum capacity is over 80%?

Agree with Paddle1, keep your phone in Low Power Mode. My Geekbench score is much lower when Low Power Mode is ok because the CPU is throttled.

Wouldn’t it be just better to replace your battery every 3-4 years for $79 (cheaper now?)...and not worry? I have Smart Battery case...so, even when it is worn, i still have plenty of juice.

As someone said, Low Power Mode does this.

I've run my 8 Plus in Low Power Mode from launch and Battery Health is 89%. So not sure how much of a real difference it makes.
