Turning off the disabling of USB ports

How do I disable the turning off of USB ports in Ventura 13.2.1 on my Mac Mini M1?

I have to reboot my Mini about once every 2-3 days because my Mini disables my USB ports (I have an external monitor on my Startech DisplayLink USB32HDDVII).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The disabling most likely happens due to a current overload from one of your peripherals. USB spec requires shutdown and reboot to restore. It's in the hardware/firmware.

that should not be happening. check your cables. also, is the monitor plugged in directly, or thru a usb hub?

Through a USB hub.

I was suggesting it might be the cause of your problem. Can you use the hdmi port?

is it a powered hub? if not, it probably should be... your devices may not be getting enough power. as a test, plug the monitor in without the hub, see how that goes...
