My ageing record player and amp combo have passed away, forever to be floating on cloud with a harp made of drive belts and needles.
I was thinking of getting a fairly good turntable tat I can connect to my Mac Mini via USB, then pump the audio out via AirPlay. I'm not an audio person, I love music but the technology behind it I'm not familiar with. I'd like some advice on a: if this is a good way to go and b: what gear you'd suggest?
I like the idea of being able to share my record collection and my iTunes over a single system.
