hm, sorry to hear that. it works fine for me on mavericks even to ios 26. however, i do remember that i was unable to make any outgoing calls for a while, then one day it just fixed it self out of nowhere. do incoming calls work for you? i've also revised the instructions, as my first tutorial was a mess and contained many unneccesarily complicated steps.@mattosx10 I systematised the OP's earliest instructions into a more acceptable form in the CharGPT-like manner. You may want to download my PDF, should you feel it's worth your time.
As for the method itself, don't hold your breath, though. This approach isn't a bulletproof solution, and the chances it will work are very slim. In my case, on Mavericks, I was able to log into my FT account, but all test calls to and from my iOS device were dropped. On Lion, the event horizon didn't extend even past failed verification attempts, and so it refused to walk me to the FT account main view.

yeah, i have run into this error. i don't really have a fix for it, it just started working again after about 2 weeks. sorry to disappoint you.Great work! I got FaceTime working on my MacBook last year using this method, and it’s still working perfectly. However, when I tried replicating it on two other Macs just now, I was able to sign in, but calls simply won't connect (outgoing ones result in a "contact not available for FaceTime" message). Have you run into this same behavior?
i can't really figure out what service is responsible for making the request. i don't want to start modifying random binaries. i've already tried imagentd and it didn't end well.@iPodNano3 Just curious if you looked into automating the FaceTime login process via injected code similar to what you did for Game Center? Is it not feasible?
