Hey guys,
Since Launchpad is a new feature in OS X Lion, and it has all of your apps, i figured that [for me, at least] i wanted to 1. corner my dock, and 2. remove all "not as important" items from my dock.

So i am writing up a little tutorial on how to do so:
Step 1: Open up your favorite Internet Browser and head over to TinkerTool

Step 2: Download and Install TinkerTool

Step 3: Open up TInkerTool, and select the "DOCK" Tab

Step 4: Where it says "placement" [second option from the bottom], click on the little arrow to open up other options.

i apologize if someone else has done this. i could not find this in my search on macrumors, however, i didn't go that much into depth..
thus, if this is already somewhere, i urge the mods and admins to remove this post :)

thank you!

'Dock Gone' will remove it completely (without actually deleting it and messing up the functionally of other things) if you find that you have no use for the dock anymore.... I use a tabbed dock replacement now Drag Thing... and it's awesome. I actually have no use for either launchpad or the built in dock anymore so I permanently hid the built in dock so it won't appear at all (it's easy to reverse too) And Drag Thing can be placed anywhere... including the tabs hanging down from the menu bar!
