TV App constantly asking for iTunes password

since the TV App appeared (in UK), i can't watch iPlayer (with the regular iPlayer app) without a requester popping up to ask for my iTunes store password. If i remove iPlayer from the TV App, i can then use iPlayer again.

Any one else seeing this?

Absolutely... exactly the same issue it’s driving me mad. The password prompts are so frequent (within seconds of successfully entering the password) that you can’t even hold the menu button long enough to get back to the home screen.

It seems a new tvOS update has gone on, I’m going to see if that fixes it, but for now it’s unusable.

update seemed to help mine, otherwise turning iplayer off in the TV App settings fixed it (but meant iplayer was not in TV App anymore!)
