Please someone tell me I am missing something, but I don't see any way to apply Restrictions settings for the content shown in the new TV app Watch Now and Store screen. I have Restrictions enabled heavily on my son's iPad, and up until now I could allow him to watch any movies we own in iTunes with rating restrictions in place through the Videos app, and completely hide the iTunes store. Now he has to use the TV app to get to the videos, and there is no way to hide or filter content shown on the other screens. In theory a password should always be required for purchases and he couldn't buy anything or download any network apps, but he can browse all content in the store and watch previews and trailers for anything. Oh, Sausage Party looks funny! Trailer!

This seems like a HUGE oversight by Apple. I think I will have to delete the TV app from his device for now.

What about the "TV Show" option?
But I assume it does not work as you think.
