    Hi

Does the iPod Touch 2 gen has TV out put functions? I want to play movies on my ipod touch and out up to the HDTV.

it depends on which connections you have for your TV, I believe the component is capable of higher resolution if you have both, but if you plan on taking it to a friends house or anything composite is more universal

    better

component should theoretically give a better picture, however, some TVs don't have it it. Every TV has Composite ports. However, there really should be no real difference, as the output resolution is so low, and I can't imagine apple being great wire specialists and using the finest wire for either cable

...that has no effect on the situation, that's just for watching TV over an antenna
