It's hard to tell. I think it all depends on the content owners. There are some shows that appear on iTunes within hours of airing while others don't get added until the season is over and the next one has begun.

Overnight (2am-ish) has been my typical experience as well with some shows like Big Bang Theory and NCIS. A few times, it's been noon or so the next day, but it's never been more than 24 hours with a Season Pass. I even set up a little script on my iTunes PC to close and reopen iTunes at 4:30am just to make sure it picked up the new episodes before I wake up. It normally works like a charm.
The CW advertised streaming with the CW app the next day. I would expect shortly after for iTunes. First episode of Supernatural this season was anticlamatic.
