Can I watch purchased shows or movies from the Google Play Store on my laptop? I'm asking because it says watch in HD on supported Android devices.
I still don't understand. I can't download the show/movie onto my laptop and play them with for instance VLC?Based on this url https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2844198?hl=en
You can watch movies and what not on a compatible browser like Safari and/or Chrome provided you have the proper plug-ins
Apple will be employing various mechanisms to ensure the downloaded content can be played only on a device owned by (or with the account owned by) you. Personally, I prefer the Apple way (allowing download to any device that will run iTunes) as I can't rely on fast enough internet, in many of the places I do business.I'm not sure. It's on my hard drive and I watch them on my own laptop.
No you can't because they have DRM. I have loads of stuff I've bought on iTunes over the years and I tried to convert and move them across to my android devices but I couldn't.But I doubt they are without copy protection. Can you copy them to a friend's hard drive? Can that friend then play the movies on their own PC or Mac?
