TV shows purchased in iTunes missing episode descriptions

Do you have a contact point?

Or are you starting at the beginning again every time?

If find insanely frustrating to deal with Apple phone support. They like to blame you for the the problem. You have to fight your way threw the frontline support people and get to advanced technical support. Then you can move on to engineering if you bitch long enough.

Every time something like this has happened it has taken weeks to get it fixed.

For me it is now 2 weeks worth of shows with absolutely no real response from Apple.

I have received a few canned responses in the last few days. Telling me to redownload and reinstall iTunes. Stupid form letters that fix nothing.

Mine seems to be fixed too, finally. Only took a little over two weeks, and like you said, still no acknowledgement or response from Apple. I guess they closed my case a long time ago without notifying me.

Now it's time to go back and redownload everything that's been messed up. At least it's fixed though.

I've spent the morning cleaning up the library. 66 episodes to redownload.

I use iTunes for TV so yeah my download queue is overloaded now.

And since it get's asked every time I post about this. I live in a city with Cox Cable here it cost's about $1,200 a year for service. With no movie channels just the basic assortment of channels. With iTunes I'm able to watch every show I want to watch for about $500 per year, in HD with no commercials. To me it is worth it.

Now I just pay Cox for internet and save a ton of money on my TV viewing.

I'm having the same problem too. It's doing it with movies as well. Hopefully it'll get fixed for when iTunes 11 comes out

This issue has already been fixed, at least so far as everyone else is seeing. I haven't tested with movies during this whole fiasco, but can when I get home this evening if you say you're still having problems.

TV Shows are fixed, testing a movie now.

EDIT: I just tried a movie from iCloud it is still missing the description.
