TV shows using Macs, must post scene shots

that doesnt look like a blackbook to me. there's a cable coming out the back of it, and ports on the right hand side (from the user's view) ... one of which looks like vga.

Haha sounds like you're watching a LOT of tv :D

I have to pace myself... Right now i've got The Office, Heroes, House, 24, Fringe, and lately Lie to Me. But i HATE HATE HATE watching TV because of commercials, so I just watch everything on my MB.
Although, i might look into that Joan of Arcadia this summer.. ;)

You know on closer look you might be right... her computer is a bit different. But I watch Fox & Friends in the morning and the anchors sit on a couch with their BlackBooks open in front of them every day... just no pictures on the net.

However it was DELL servers and Linux desktop being featured in the apps at work. At his home server & lab Jarvis is running on Mac.

Isnt' that the same as in real life?! Awesome! LOVE ][ronMan the movie!
 
Speaking of the iCarly post on page 3; my kids watch that show so often, I'm beginning to wonder if Apple sactions their products for paid advertisement??!

Can anyone find out of Apple gets paid a dime or more for their products featured in TV/Movie or if THEY pay for product placement? Also if they don't initiate or are negotiated in product placement do they sanction the logo's to be distorted or not shown as Apple?

Not a tv show, but I have seen movies mentioned in this topic already...in the film A View to A Kill (1985), Stacey has (I believe) the original Macintosh computer in her bedroom.

I'm tiring of Jimmy Fallon's obsession with having Apple products on the show. I know it's not exactly his fault, and normally I'd be enthusiastic about Apple's stuff being shown so much on tv, but I really am getting tired of him always saying "my iPhone this, my iPhone that". Yeah, you have an iPhone...we get it...

I dont think they do. My sister watches iCarly and I noticed the Macs. However there is no apple on it. It is a pear in place of the glowing apple sign. Apple would obviously want their logo on it if they were paying them!
 
rich waltz (on the right), play by play guy for the marlins uses a black macbook for his work. i'm sure his buddy tommy hutton (on the left) uses it sometimes.
