TV Won't Display Mac Mini with DVI to RGB (Composite) Cable

Hi there,

I just bought a cheap cable off of eBay which goes from the DVI port of my Mac Mini to the RGB (Composite) ports of my LCD TV. I just quickly tried it out last night and the TV kind of flickers on and off when I boot my mac. 😕 Do I need some kind of converter or adapter to use the TV as a display?
