Tvos 17 fixes Match Frame Rate Lipsync issue?

Hi,

Does anyone who are on tvos 17 beta know whether the Lipsync issue is fixed when you've got Match Fram Rate turned on?

I’ve had a lot of ATV’s for many years with multiple different audio setups and never had an issue with this. Sounds like it maybe something else you’re experiencing.

I’m unaware of this issue also. TVs have settings onboard to address this.

Lip Sync issues are generally caused by your TV due to its processing under the different frame rates and dynamic range combinations.
For the most part eARC addresses this issue.

Also if you have an iPhone you could try the Wireless Audio Sync tool which will align the picture and sound.
Bear in mind though you also need to run the tool on all the different picture combinations your TV will use ie: 4KSDR@50Hz, 4KHDR@50Hz, 4KDV@50Hz, 4KSDR@60Hz, 4KHDR@60Hz & 24Hz etc etc.
It’s a bit of a faff engaging all the different combinations to then run the tool each time but it does work(well it’s worked for me at least anyhow)

I can only hope so! I run my ATV4K through a Denon receiver and have to tweak the audio delay if playing SDR and then increase delay if the program is in Dolby Vision.

My other ATVs connected directly to the TVs are good with lip sync….
