Same here. Open the TV Remote app on my iPhone, and don't see anything resembling Find My.

When they say “Siri Remote”, are they talking about the current aluminum version with the Siri button on the side?

Or will this also work with the black glass version with the trackpad?

There is a good chance it only works with the remote that is USB C and not the earlier Lightning version. I don't see settings for it and I looked through then all.

Sure, which is great to have, but still lacks volume control. Or has this changed in iOS 17? At least the physical remote has this this ability…
Works when I've used the phone app. Plus I appreciate having an actual keyboard screen pop up in search fields.

Volume is supported for airplay speakers, not for anything else because obviously your phone doesn’t have an IR blaster.

I know where my remote is. Fell between the cushions of my sectional and slipped right into the groove connecting two of the seats. So, in other words: lost forever unless I take apart my entire living room.

The Apple TV remote will likely need a firmware update before this remote locate feature is activated.
