Is it possible to remove the clock from the homescreen statusbar?
Clock Hide (Cydia)
Lockscreen Clock Hide.
That doesn't hide it on the homescreen though.
Oh, sorry (missed that part). I'm not sure, but SBSettings may do that.
My bad also so sorry freedevil I missed that too ok I'm out! I screwed up enough for tonight.
Does anyone know of a way to hide the LOCKSCREEN clock without having to constantly download and remove Lockscreen Clock Hide from Cydia?
I like to change my lockscreen themes quite often, and some of them contain a clock and some don't. It would be great if there were a way to hide the clock right on the phone, without having to go into Cydia and get Lockscreen Clock Hide or remove it whenever needed.
I tried the "Hide Lock Clock" in LockInfo, but it doesn't seem to work unless you're using LockInfo in front of the lockscreen theme. If you're using a lockscreen theme that's clickable, like Weather Elements, it doesn't work.
Just go to Settings -> clock Hide -> Enabled -> Toggle Off, you'll see your clock. No need to keep to remove the app itself.
Ha, ha...son of a buck...you learn something new everyday.
I'm embarrassed to say I'd never realized you could do that, freedevil. Thanks for the heads up!
Try MIM [MakeItMine]? Just add a space and choose banner, respring & done.
makeitmine only works on lockscreen aswell, im also looking for a fix to hide the clock on the homescreen, im running 4.2.1
MakeItMine WILL remove the homescreen clock in the status bar IF you follow the directions above.
Open MakeItMine > tap the text entry area to bring up the keyboard > tap the spacebar once > tap the "Banner" button on the top right. I promise you, the homescreen clock WILL disappear. You may have to respring, but it WILL work. I know because I use it exactly for that purpose.
make it mine like they all said simple just hit space and re spring done
Maybe this only works on 4.1
Tried mim with space a dozen times. And it doesn't work on 4.2.1
MakeitMine does not work on 4.1 either.
Yes it does. I'm using it on 4.1.
I beg to differ.
i tested on mine with 4.1 and it works so looks to be hit or miss i guess
freedevil, are you referring to a macbooks homescreen clock or an iphones?
It's been 3 years...
Just curious why you would ask this question when the forum it's in is for jailbroken iPhones and no MacBook was mentioned?
Macs don't have homescreens. They have desktops. Ergo, the topic must be about iPhones.
As also has been mentioned, you're about three years late to the discussion.
