General Tweak to keep battery between 20 & 80%

Interesting thread. Just got a new (replacement) iPhone 5 so I'll try to follow this advice, without being too anal about it

Damn maybe I should have been following the 20-80% rule all along. My iphone 5 is only 11 months old and already showing tons of battery degradation.

I guess it just gives me a good excuse to get a 5s before 7.1 comes out in march.

It keeps alternating between the high 60's and mid 70's.

I already went to the Verizon stand in our mall and ordered a 64gb iphone 5s at subsidized price though. They're the only ones that still let me get subsidized pricing and keep my unlimited data. It should be available for me to pick up on Wednesday.

If I recall correctly, it should have more than 80% if you have less than 300 cycles. I think you'd be covered under warranty, and if they do, at least you'd get to sell it for a little more.
