So, it should look like every Twitter client will look that uses the iOS 7 redesign?

I'm just curious what they do with their icon.. I'm a fan of their UI, so it will be interesting to see what they can do.

I'm fine with this as long as there's one thing included...a dark theme. That's the only thing about TweetBot that I can criticize, honestly. Sure, it's great during the day in sunlight, but it kills your eyes at night (and no, turning the brightness of the screen down doesn't help).

Nice mockup, but Tapbots won't follow the crowd with their design. They will find some way to make it stand out from the standard iOS 7 look.

Guys this is just using my imagination,

You hit the nail right on the head.

Im finishing a dark theme soon will be posted

Thanks for the feedback

Thats a totally fact.

Maybe they'll do a little more flattening out, but I can't see them using standard UI elements like that. They need to add some kind of full screen support, since every other good client has that. That can be the "new look."

Well now tb3 is out, look really close to my mockup, AWESOME!,

What I don't get is why does one have to pay again for Tweetbot3? Makes zero sense... Why not make it paid, but and update for ones already using Tweetbot!

Because Apple doesn't allow for discounted upgrades for those who have already purchased an existing version of an app. If you use it regularly, $3 is nothing. They've already announced it's going to go up to $4.99 before too long.

I so use it reg, but Paying again for the same app with different colors and shapes...
If $3 no biggie wanna buy it for me?

$3 was no biggie...for me. So I bought it. I use the app probably a combined 4-5 hours a week reading Twitter updates, so the cost for a year or two of paid updates is a pittance. But that doesn't mean I'm offering handouts, sorry.

At lease I tried!

i cant believe how close the mockup was to the released version!!

and i was a little pissed i had to pay again, but i use it everyday and was looking forward to a refresh on it.

Been a user of Tweetbot for a while now but to be honest I'm not liking the update especially after spending money on it.

Just can't put my finger on it, just don't like it.

Think I'm going to stick with the new Tweetings.

And the Mail app and the App Store app and .......
So the "new clean and crisp look" means you sandwich your info that's on a white background between a 3-5% darker top and bottom bar? Oooh that just oozes individuality.

At least with the official Twitter app they deviated a little (obviously foregoing clean and crisp) and made the top bar blue and the bottom darker. And although I like a lot of the the design decisions overall in Tweetbots 3, going between the two I now find the Twitter app to be easier to focus on the tweets and on eye strain.

I feel the same about eye strain and easier to focus on tweets. I just can't put my finger on it, but the official Twitter app just seems easier to focus and navigate. Weird because I really like Tweetbot, but keep switching back and forth.

Wonder why they skipped out on the blur behind the toolbar and top bar. Performance?

Good reason. But who know. Maybe they dont wait it.

I CANT BELIEVE TOO, jajajjaa

Well it really sucks because here in Venezuela its kind a hard get some us$ and its very expensive, i have to pay around 31$ to get it... I will wait some time.

Yes it makes zero sense. Development is FREE after all!

Well its not free, you have to pay to be able to submit your app, plus the time you put in coding/testing/desing
