I have Tweetie 2.1 and I was really excited by this list break for Tweetie where it inserts a break after you've been away for so long and new tweeds come.

But de whatever reason I can leave it overnight and it still won't appear. Does it need a certain amout of tweets in addition to time? I follow very few people.

Thanks guys. Would love some help.

When you open Tweetie, it loads the most recent 100 tweets in your timeline. If there are 130 new tweets between the last one you viewed in the previous session and the newest one, it will be missing 30 tweets. A gap will be placed in the timeline to reflect the missing tweets. Tap the gap to load the missing tweets.

You must not have more than 100 new tweets in your timeline after sleeping.

This isn't a feature that you would want to have or use, it's just ... something. This isn't some exciting new feature or something, it's just a workaround for loading missing tweets that you normally wouldn't have seen and wouldn't know about.

The gaps are something that show up when necessary and don't show up when unnecessary. It's not a desired thing to see in a timeline. I don't get why so many people *want* the gaps in their timeline even though they don't understand how they work or what they're for.
