FWIW: Nekmit (nekmitusa.com, or look up "Nekmit" on Amazon) has had some really good flat chargers. You can get all sorts of combinations, ranging from 1 port to 4 ports, USB-A, USB-C, up to 90W, etc. The price and quality is IMO very good and is, to me, more compelling than this Twelve South offering.

It would seem like it would have to be to be so small.

I like the size. Hauling around the MBP charger block is okay, because it will charge 'everything', but it's 'big'. Small is good... Is there an extension cable for it like for the MBP power blocks? I have an old cable from a much earlier MBP, and since they don't include the cord anymore, I find that of value. It was worth its weight in gold on a cruise. There was only 2 standard US receptacles in the whole room. Having that extra 5 or so feet was genius. I actually took to throwing in a Schuko cord because it saved my butt so many times.

Did people have trouble putting the slightly thicker Apple-supplied power adapter into a bag or purse? 🤨

Of course. I just used to accept it. Carrying chargers for everything. Now I look for cables, which sometimes leads to some spectacularly weird pricing decisions. I once paid nearly 30 bucks for a 4 inch-sh long Belkin cable for my cable kit. If it wasn't so necessary, I'd have told them where to shove it. It took me a few months to recover from that disaster. The is one damn expensive short cable...

That's why on the picture their USB-C cable conveniently disappears under the phone.

Yeah, I saw that picture and thought "if they don't trust plugging it into their own phone, I'm sure as heck not plugging it into mine!".

I think it's actually a MagSafe charger though...

I don’t care about thin but I appreciate narrow, so it doesn’t block surrounding outlets in a power strip. I hope like Apple’s that it’s not a polarized plug so it can go in either outlet without blocking the other.
