I like the utility of this, added to my shopping list. Yes, take it out when working for long periods for ventilation but for quick “work and go” type scenarios and meetings, it’s perfect. A black version would be really nice to see

Putting what is essentially a quilted blanket underneath your motherboard is NOT a good idea.

If you're really worried about weight, just don't put the computer in it.

Yes, in fact, I wouldn't need to care about the case weight if Apple had continued the natural development of the MacBook Air and had released a light MacBook with a display bigger than 13inch. After waiting and waiting, I got a 15inch MBP in 2018, which has more performance than I needed but also it's heavier than I wished (1.2kg the MBA vs 1.8kg the MBP). And so, my hunt for ultralight cases began, just to balance the lack of a worthy successor to the MBA, with a 14inch display for example. The thing is that I don't need a light case, but one with negative weight, I'm afraid.
