How do you talk on the iPhone inside the BookBook? The flap is going to be in your face or in your hair, unless it folds back. But, being leather, that might be tough on the leather spine.

Same type of question for the iPad BookBook... Can you fold the cover back against itself for those times when you are reading. Or, do you end up with an iPad-size flap to deal with? I really like the ability to prop up the iPad with the new BookBook.

Currently, I have my iPad2 in a Boxwave portfolio. I REALLY like the way it feels (padded), magnetic cover, soft lining, pocket for papers and pen holder. This does fold back on itself, which makes it easy to hold when reading. HOWEVER, there's no way to prop it up to view the screen, much less type on it. When it's flat on the table, not only is it hard to view, you have to lock the screen orientation or else it's continually flipping back and forth. I'm wondering if the new BookBook would be the answer.

I have a Book Book for my iPhone, and I stopped using it a few months ago. I loved the way it looked and loved that it was an awesome conversation starter. The problem was, it's too cramped as a wallet (cash barely fits in it, and it only holds 3-4 cards comfortably) and too big as a phone case, so I went back to carrying each thing separately.

When you use the Book Book as a phone, the cover does bend back completely. It's a little weird to hold a small book on your face, but it works all right. Aside from the size, the other issue is that there's no hole in the back for the camera, so you have to remove it from the case whenever you want to snap a photo. That often kills spontaneity.

I may go back to it again someday (after all, it was kind of an expensive experiment) but for now it's sitting in my closet collecting dust.

Have two, one each for my

MB Air and my iPad. Love them both, very high quality, very protective, and do serve as a moderate theft deterrent as well. Highly recommended.
