My gut reaction.. shouldn’t have fired 90% of your workforce…. They need new jobs… Meta was willing to hire…

you did this to yourself elon....

Hilarious.

1. if you fire somebody and a competitor hires them, that is not poaching. Poaching is hiring active employees by offering them more money — usually when there is some sort of relationship in place between the two companies involved. Example: company A does consulting services for company B to build them a custom app and company B hires one or more developers from company A just as the contract is winding up.

2. What intellectual property? Every forum on every website that allows comments is using essentially the same functionality to store posts and responses. Did Twitter patent the character limit?

Is it poaching if you were fired by a megalomaniac via Tweet?
“but hiring people actively looking for a job is typically considered poaching.”

Wut?
"hiring people actively looking for a job is typically considered poaching"

I don't think that is right (or isn't phrased right).
Oh yes they're poaching the employees you wrongfully terminated Elon.

You only have yourself to blame for all of this.
Elon Musk gaslighting everyone

Let me see if I understand the sequence of events. Musk makes an outlandish offer to buy Twitter. Twitter calls the bluff and accepts. Musk gets cold feet and tries to wiggle out of the deal by claiming some made up issues with fake accounts (by the way, what has he done about bots and fake accounts now that he owns Twitter?). Musk is forced to buy Twitter or face the court system. Reluctantly buys the company and in a show of petty vindictiveness starts firing people all over the company. Things go down from there and continue going down. Claims some sort of freedom of expression crusade but it seems to be mostly allowing disinformation and hate go rampant. When you fire so many employees chances are some of them are going to end up creating a better version of your product. That is the computer industry ethos. Don't complain for a problem of your own creation. Way to tarnish your reputation after Tesla and SpaceX.
You understand the sequence of events.

I mean Threads has 30m curious people and it will get more. How successful will it be? Time will tell. I suspect it may do well simply because it's so tied to Instagram.

Yah auto import from IG was the killer feature so far.

The app is not even done yet and they are gaining more users per hour than the Cesspool did back when it was not a Cesspool.

But his steady genius MIND is going to take us to MARRRRRSS!!!!!!!!

🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

Yah right.
Remember this article? Can you imagine if Elon was really running Apple.
