Twitter App for Mac

Honestly, I’ve been using the new official Twitter app. I really only use Twitter to follow some accounts and organizations I’m interested in, so simply having the 1st party iOS app on my Mac works fine for me.
Tweetbot is generally thought of as the very best. But Twitter itself has hampered all 3rd party apps by removing basic features. Some don't even auto-update the tweet timeline.
The new Twitter app for Mac is pretty bad in comparison to the old one. In short, I'm not sure I could recommend purchasing one at this point. If I did, it would be Tweetbot. However you might want to try Twitter's app if you're on Catalina.
